Community Gardens

Community gardens are a wonderful resource for kai security and Grow it Local is thrilled to be able to support a number of Eastern Bay of Plenty gardens through the support of our wonderful funders. Our garden support programme kicked off in May 2026 and we are looking forward to a productive and tasty growing season ahead.

We currently support two gardens but have capacity to take on a small number of others so if you have a community garden project ready to kick off in the next few months, please get in touch to see how we can help. If your plans are a bit longer term, we still encourage you to still get in touch. We have a number of resources and connections that can make your garden journey smoother.
